Applying for a degree or certificate program at RES is a big step toward helping you discover God’s call for your life. We have designed the process to help you discover as much about us as you tell us about yourself. A complete application to RES includes the following steps:
Step One
Not sure which program is right for you? Would you like to try a course? Apply as a non-matriculant and audit courses or take a course or two for credit. You must apply to matriculate before taking a third course.

Step Two
Download and share the reference forms with three people who know you well and can testify to your spiritual maturity, academic ability, and Christian character. One should be from your pastor or bishop. Your references should return the forms to us directly via email or regular mail.

Step Three
Submit transcripts from the undergraduate institution(s) from which you graduated. The Seminary recommends an undergraduate degree with a broad scope in order to give the students a basic familiarity with philosophy, history and literature, as well as the sciences. A small percentage of students may be admitted who have achieved, by way coursework and ministry experience, a comparable education even if they have not achieved a bachelor’s degree.
