Diaconal Ministry Certificates
The ministry of deacons is an important aspect of parish and institutional services. RES offers certificates in diaconal ministry for those who intend to pursue the permanent diaconate. There are two certificates designed to provide prospective deacons with training in Scripture, theology, church history, and pastoral care. Postulants for Holy Orders should consult with their Bishop as to which certificate (or both) are required.
